Senior Vice President, Marketing Communication

As Senior Vice President of Communications for Cervera Real Estate, Omar plays a key role in the firm's PR, brand and digital marketing strategy. He is also a content creator and podcast host of the Miami Real Estate Podcast, South Florida's #1 rated real estate podcast.

Omar is a seasoned communicator with a background in public relations. He began his PR agency career in Miami in 2008 and specialized in the real estate, travel, tourism, and luxury consumer goods sectors. His past client portfolio includes JetBlue, Marriott Hotels International, Tourism New Zealand, Audi Latin America, and TCL.

During his time on the agency side of public relations, Omar also ran strategic PR efforts in the US and Latin America for more than 20 Miami luxury new developments, including One Thousand Museum, Grove at Grand Bay, Paramount Miami World Center, Prive at Island Estates, Biscayne Beach and Elysee Miami among others. In the process, he led PR teams spread across nine countries in the Caribbean and Latin America in the execution of media relations, event planning, and advertising campaigns.

In 2015, he joined Cervera Real Estate as Vice President of Communications. 

A native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Omar was raised in Weston, Florida. As a 30+ year resident of South Florida, he is intimately acquainted with the region's diverse neighborhoods and witnessed first-hand the evolution of Miami into a leading global city. 

Omar is a founding and former Board member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America's Greater Miami Chapter, established in 2015. His community service involvement includes the Perez Art Museum Young Contemporaries committee.
