The Roads

Sleek high-rises and luxurious single-family homes

Overview

Created from land granted to the city by Mary Brickell, The Roads is Miami’s original neighborhood, and the only residential destination in South Florida that is directly adjacent to downtown. Historic South Miami Avenue is one of the first-ever roads in Miami – and paired with Flagler Street marks the center of all navigation in Miami-Dade County.

Quiet, tree-lined streets, historic single-family homes from the 1920s and 1930s, quaint bungalows with guest houses, and gorgeous modern Mediterranean villas, are all just a short walk from Brickell Avenue, Biscayne Bay, and downtown Miami – making it one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the area. Residents love its family-friendly character and the ability to be in Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, Coral Gables, Miami International Airport, Coconut Grove and other top destinations in fewer than 30 minutes.
